Check out my video on YouTube for some reflections!
In 2020, I did a lot of things I would have never even imagined doing and pushed myself to work towards my dreams. So, I won’t say “new year, new me” because I feel like I have been changing into the person I want to be the past few months and know I want to continue this path in 2021.
I have come to understand that developing a healthy mindset is integral to how you think, behave, achieve and deal with anything in life. Failing to have a good mindset can contribute to failure, feeling hopeless, not achieving what you want and getting bothered by the little things in life. Having a good mindset can give you the discipline, focus, hope, enthusiasm, power and capacity to strive towards what you want in life and handle problems with ease.

I felt most of my life I just existed. I didn’t live because I was so busy living the life inside my head, thinking so much the perceptions of what the world thought of me, seeking validation of my existence from external things/people and afraid to be who I really wanted to be. It was 2020 that made me stronger as a person. It was the first time I started doing things that made me realize being who I truly am is not to be ashamed of, but to be more proud of it.
There are a lot of mistakes that I have made, new people who have come into my life and made it beautiful, people who have taught me the importance of time/being confident in myself and lessons I have learned along the way to be where I am right now in this current moment.
I have plenty of things I want to accomplish this year, and some of the things on my list is to give back to society, make a bigger impact, be fearless in who I am and not worry about what people think of me but myself.
If there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s that waiting for the right moment to come by will be forever. You might as well live now, do what you want and be happy.
I will conclude this blog post with some resolutions that I intend to follow this year that may help you too 🙂
