Hello beautiful people!
My name is Poojah Ganesh, and I am a singer, dancer, writer and content creator. I love to travel, write poetry and explore new things as well!
Before you read about me, I want to thank you for visiting my blog.
For many years, I have written so many articles and produced content for various websites and blogs, but this is the one place where I can be unapologetically myself.
I also want to help people and provide relatable content that resonates with you, the reader. While my blog is about my personal journey, I hope to provide you some of the lessons learned in my life, lifestyle and productivity hacks, good vibes, positivity and the confidence to live your best life!

My Beginning
I was born in Bangalore but came to the US when I was 10 months old. As a wildly imaginative child, I loved reading and listening to stories about Indian mythology. The way the stories were told and the way the characters were portrayed ignited a fire in me – I aspired to become a great storyteller. At age 8, I started writing creative stories, novels and poetry (some of which have been published online and in magazines).
Passionate to tell stories on grander stages, I found a heavenly escape in the classical Indian arts (Bharatanatyam dance and Carnatic music). It was here that I started to appreciate the meaning of words, language, characters and my rich, beautiful Indian culture. I continued to pursue dance, music and writing even when receiving my Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Maryland and Master’s degree in public relations and corporate communications at Georgetown University.

I have performed for various causes and fundraisers (such as children’s education, women’s health and empowerment) and in cultural programs, productions and festivals around the world.
Some of my accomplishments include performing with international artists; singing for Radio Zindagi as a result of winning the 2016 Kaveri Kannada Idol music competition; performing my Rangapravesham (solo dance debut) in India in 2017; winning the Miss India DC 2017 Title; and performing in a international Bharatanatyam dance tour (in multiple cities in India).
I have also taught Carnatic music to children, made TV appearances, presented speeches and compered events and programs.
Currently I am working on my novel, blogging and creating video content related to travel, music, dance and lifestyle.
