The Best Places To See In Dallas

I went to Dallas on a trip with my sister, and the weather was beautiful that weekend.

After combing Pinterest and getting recommendations from my friends M and N, we discovered some of the hottest spots in this cool city.

Here are the best places to see in Dallas in three days!

Deep Ellum: The place to be at night!

  • Yellow Rosa: The drinks and food are really good. Grab tacos before starting your night with drinks! I grabbed a Tama-Rey, which had tamarind and lime mixed. It was so spicy and tasted like barbecue.
  • Vidorra: For great music, this is the place to dance at. Head up to the rooftop to get a great view.
  • Stirr: For cute neon signs and Cardi B music, you’d have fun here. The entrance to the rooftop is really cool – make sure you read the stairs and the touchy quotes.

RH Rooftop Restaurant Dallas: If you want luxury and grandeur, look no further. My Dad was the one who suggested we visit this place years ago – this Restoration Hardware (RH) location features a gorgeous gallery of furniture and a rooftop restaurant on the third floor. My sister and I enjoyed dreaming of our future furniture, sipping a mimosa/Bellini, and eating a scrumptious brunch. The grilled cheese sandwich is really tasty and perfect to eat under the sun!

Highland Park Village: We stopped by here to walk around the shops. You can see designer brands and fancy vehicles parked here. This is a cute place to see during the day.

Bishop Arts District:

  • I wanted to come here to check out the murals – we saw pretty murals on different walls and shops. There are also plenty of places to explore here that are casual and fun.
  • We stopped by this pop-up bar called Mermaid Raw Bar & Champagne Room, which had the most amazing drinks I’ve ever tasted. This is the perfect stop on a super hot day.

WrestleMania: I am a huge WWE fan and have been watching videos on YouTube of some of my favorite female wrestlers. I saw signs for WrestleMania 38 all over Downtown Dallas – I checked online and found tickets. I purchased them the day of and was ecstatic that I was finally going to be able to see these stars in real life. More importantly, it was the adrenaline rush that came from going to a stadium just watch the famous moves by these wrestlers. I packed a small purse and took some pics in front of the AT&T Stadium before my sister and I ran to the top. We got to see Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey, The Mysterios vs. Logan Paul and The Miz, and Seth Rollins vs. Cody Rhodes. It was a great evening, and I was overjoyed to share this experience with my sister.

Midnight Rambler: After WrestleMania, my sister and I took an Uber to Midnight Rambler, this beautiful lounge located in The Joule Hotel. The ambiance was perfect and bronze. We had the tastiest drinks – the service was fantastic, and they provided me a drink to my liking. I highly recommend coming here for a great drink.

The Eye: I didn’t realize The Eye was across The Joule Hotel – it is a large eyeball that reminds me of the Eye of Sauron from Lord of the Rings. This 30-foot sculpture is by Tony Tasset, who used fiberglass, paint, steel, and resin; the eye color is a lovely shade of blue and stands out even at night.

Mansion Bar: We concluded our night at Mansion Bar, this place in Uptown. We got bloody orange margaritas that tasted fantastic – again, this was similar to Midnight Rambler in ambiance.

Dallas Farmers Market: Every country or city I go, I love visiting the local farmers market. If you’re visiting Dallas, you have to check out this fabulous place filled with shops. Stop by for tasty tacos and drinks.

  • Ruibal’s Plants of Texas: We didn’t get a chance to go in here, but it’s a nice place to see filled with beautiful plants.

NorthPark Center: This glamorous mall has so many high end shops to see. I picked this mall primarily for Eataly

  • Eataly Dallas: Our last stop for the trip was this awesome place. I loved the Las Vegas location and knew that I had to try the Dallas location. My sister and I did the tasting menu and got gnocchi, spaghetti, burrata, beets, and Copertino wine. All in all, this was a lovely place to stop by for lunch.
