The Best Places To See In Philadelphia

I spent a beautiful weekend in Philadelphia a week ago with some friends, and I got to see some places on my bucket list in just three days.

Here are some of the coolest spots to check out if in this city:

NOTO: I went here for an EDM concert – we saw an electronic duo by the name of Vicetone, who played some great music. It was a wild club spot for a night of dancing. Add this to your list if you want to party in Philly.

Bistro Romano: If you love Italian food, this place is a must for its wine and ricotta. The House-Made Ricotta was so delicious along with the bread, which was so soft and tasty. Another factor that made this restaurant a favorite in my list was its ambience. It was like dining in Italy!

Bar Bombón: The area in which this bar is located is so happening and lively – it is a must when visiting Philly. I loved this bar for its drinks – the service was excellent, and the drinks were so tasty. This was a perfect stop for summer celebrations.

Lifting Noodles Ramen: For the best ramen, you have to come here. The vegetarian ramen was delicious, and I loved the tofu and seaweed.

Reading Terminal Market: I love farmer’s markets. You can see so much inside and visit different vendors to try out new products. I got an amazing ginger smoothie and dreamed of eating all the chocolate desserts.

LOVE Sculpture: This is one of the popular sculptures to see in Philly and by Robert Indiana – it is so cute for a quick photo op.

City Hall: When in Philly, you may pass this gorgeous building. I have been here also during the winter, when there were beautiful decorations for the holidays. According to the Visit Philadelphia website, the floor space of this place takes up over 14.5 acres and is America’s biggest municipal building.

Dilworth Park: Near City Hall, this is the perfect park to sit and enjoy a summer afternoon. Walk through the water sprinklers if you dare!

Philadelphia Museum of Art: If you love European architecture, then you will love the museum’s entrance. I did not get a chance to go inside, but I love the steps, which overlook the city.

Rocky Statue: Located near the Philadelphia Museum of Art, this Rocky Statue is a must for any Sylvester Stallone fan. Take a photo with your arms raised like the statue!

Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens: This has been on my bucket list for years. When I came here, I was awed by the art, colors, and writings on the wall by Isaiah Zagar. It reminded me of Park Güell in Barcelona with the similar art style. If you love art, this wonderful place is a must.
